I cannot recommend Stewart Graham. Dismissed me, abruptly, told me what do you expect, you have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis, get used to it. Dropped a bombshell, you have AS as well. This was at the end of my visit. Asked about it at the beginning of my next visit and he denied it hotly. My GP told me not to see him, but driving to Hobart for a new specialist is out of the question on my own. I now have no specialist because I won’t go back.

Distracted by animals and phone calls in the office. Spent time on mental health creating even further unnecessary concerns. I guess when he couldn't answer simple technical questions other than say "well that's the way it is" you just change subjects. Most people deserve to be treated by a health professional that actually cares about their patients and less about themselves.

Dr Graham never lied to me, nor did he dismiss any of my concerns. He instituted the best possible treatment for my personal variant of my disease. While it began almost 30 years ago, I do see others with the same disease but different Rheumatologists, slowly becoming more crippled and wracked by pain whilst I do not. I now have an astonishing level of health for my age due entirely to his expertise. I could not be more grateful. Whether you like him or not (I do), he is simply a brilliant Rheumatologist. I couldn't ask for a better doctor, very friendly and talks understandably and honestly with you about your health and concerns. He also explained other diagnoses from other doctors that confused me.
