I moved to Newton, Fall, 2022, from Baltimore, MD.. Dr. Van Dam’s name was given to me as someone who was accepting new patients. It’s been two years plus, yet I remember our meeting as if it were yesterday. In sharing my medical history with him I revealed that I had had Lyme disease and then shared the list of supplements that I took and still take. This smart doctor is unempathic, unaware of psychosocial issues affecting patient health and yells loudly, "I am not a realtor, bring me a medical problem". His office staff is so unfriendly and cold. Two plus years ago.
Dr Van Dam is a great Dr. He always give me the time to discuss all of my ongoing issues! There are many. He is very knowledgeable about many different maladies. I trust his judgment and enjoy my interaction with him.
