Excellent Office. Everyone is helpful and friendly. I have accompanied a loved one to appointments with Ingrid and Matthew. They have truly taken great care of my loved one. They take the time to explain things and they are very knowledgeable. If only more doctor offices could be so friendly and engaging
Personally, I had an great experience visiting Dr. Kariya. He’s straightforward but nonetheless very genuine and caring. I could tell that he was really concerned about my sudden and unexplained breathing problems. He treated me less like a doctor would treat a patient and more like a father would treat a son. It means a lot to me and my family to get that level of care in scary situation like that.
Very intelligent and competent pulmonologist, but terrible bed side manners. When you are truly in need of help with lung issues he’s the man. Just go in expecting an unusual attitude from a physician so you are not surprised.
Dr. Kariya has such a fine work ethic: he listens, asks clarifying questions, gives thoughtful analyses, and even sends a thorough summary notes to the patient portal. I am blessed to have such a physician.
