In 2015 I had an accident that resulted in compartment syndrome in my left thigh. The hospital brought Dr Silverman in on an emergency basis. He immediately performed an arthroscopic procedure, and implanted a stint which saved my leg and possibly my life. An accomplished surgeon, very professional. His office staff is also very professional and personable.Excellent follow up in the ensuing years. I highly recommend him.
I was referred to Dr. Silverman by my PCP. I had a serious issue with my right leg and was experiencing ulcers and pain. Family history of varicose veins and vein/blood related leg issues. His treatments and eventual surgery not only saved my leg but I am now living without pain. The swelling, ulcers and pain are gone! Other than some slight discoloration it looks and feels normal. Dr. Silverman saved my leg. i had all arteries in my left leg completely shutdown with reoccurring blood clots. This all started over 3 years ago, and i'am still doing well. Yes you may have to wait a little, but i would not want him to hurry up when its my turn, so iam willing to wait a little while he is taking care of someone else. And he does deal with emergencies,(trust me i was one). So God bless I can wait a little while he is saving someone else. I would never use anyone else.
He is a rude, discourteous doctor. I was sent to see him for a follow up ordered by my doctor. I felt, after waiting over an hour, that he was angry that I was even there! Also, you can listen to my heart without having me take my bra up to my neck and lie flat. It was the worse doctor visit I’ve ever had, and I’m 71.
There is no question. Dr. Steven Silverman is the finest Vascular surgeon. Not only in the entire United States but the entire planet earth. If you need a finer more definitive recommendation please contact GOD.
He may be talented As I was referred to him by my primary physician. But as mentioned by other reviews it was a Harantis long wait and when he came in the room he was unbelievably abrupt, rushed… To me unpleasant and almost rude. I will not go back.
Dr. Silverman's expertise is evident and I rely upon his judgment extensively. While there may be a wait to see him, the wait is worth it to see a practitioner with excellent diagnostic skills.
Extremely and unacceptable long wait in waiting room each and every visit...greater than an hour to just get back to the room and then more waiting to see the doctor. Dr. Silverman has poor bedside manner and is not approachable to ask questions. For all the waiting, when he is actually in the room he is rushed. I would advise taking a family member to help in trying to slow him down and make him spend the necessary time to have all your questions answered.
