Dr. Sclafani treated me for a hip injury. He confirmed my diagnosis after an MRI and explained my options. We opted to go with conservative treatment of physical therapy which was sometimes difficult and time consuming but worked. I have been able to return to all my activities and continue to preform the PT exercised on my own. I was happy that we did not opt for a surgery since the recovery would have been more difficult.
Dr. Sclafani performed rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder August 2015. After a five month recovery and physical therapy I have had an excellent outcome. He is an outstanding surgeon and his office staff was excellent
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The doctor saw me after a short wait and then sent me for an x-ray to verify an fracture of my arm. The wait for the x-ray was longer than to see the doctor but was necessary. All and all I had a good experience and would recommend the doctor and office to family and friends.
Dr. Sclafani was very knowledgeable about my injury and spent the time to explain my options. He was patient and I felt confident in his experience.
I saw Dr. Sclafani for pain in elbow & hips area. Called, staff inquired about the complaint,we explained. I got to see Dr. Sclafani, he required an xray for my elbow, which was diagnosed as tennis elbow. Fine, why an xray for a simple diagnosis? I asked about the hips, Dr. said he does not see hips. The negative is that his office should have told us his specialty before we came for our visit as we would have made a different choice. My wife also saw Dr. Sclafani, her's experience is worse...
