Dr. Katsuyama by far the best OBGYN I could ask for. He was my doctor for both of my pregnancies, and I always felt heard and supported. He takes the time to listen and gives thoughtful, reassuring advice. I had membrane sweeps with both of my babies, and in each case my water broke about 72 hours later—both pregnancies resulted in smooth deliveries. The very best doctor !
I’ve had the run around with multiple doctors, all of them being women. As a woman trying to get help, it’s very disheartening to be gaslit, especially by people of the same gender: they should understand. I decided to switch my doctor and went with Katsuyama. I was a little nervous because I’ve never had a male ob/gyn but I was tired of all the women ob/gyn Kaiser has to offer. Seeing Katsuyama, I was comfortable. I went to see this doctor he was very abrupt and abrasive he did not listen to my medical needs or feelings of what my body was going through he was downright awful and it was the worst experience I’ve had in my whole life I have seen many great doctors before practitioners and this was the absolute worst I don’t even believe that he should have a license to practice medicine based off the way he treats humans, if you are a woman and you are having any thoughts about seeing this doctor I advise you to please please not to
