Dr. Kalter has treated me for several years. My rare condition has steadily improved with no side effects. He is attentive, listens carefully, is highly intelligent, and knows what to do. He prefers the least invasive approach to treatment, and, in my case, it has been very effective.
He is not only a Hematologist he is an Oncologist, I see him for Hematology. He monitors the 4 foot long clot in my leg, blood tests and unlike my previous Hematologist he actually orders Ultrasounds on my leg to monitor the clot visually as well. He covers all the bases and then some, very friendly and food bedside manner. Sometimes can be a bit of a wait because he is so good and well known but his expertise is worth the wait. I chose Dr. Ulmer for his high reviews on Health Grades. Getting an appt. was not the easiest process due to the secretary who does his new patient scheduling, and I almost quit the process due to that, but the reviews helped me see it through. Office staff is incredible, and I'm always taken back before my scheduled appt. time. I can't say enough about Dr. Ulmer, & he is truly a Dr. who cares for his patients. Doctor Randall Rogers is a godsend. Due to his care and treatment, I was able to return return to my normal activities. I refer friends and family to him when this sensitive topic comes up.
Dr. DeBerry is one of the kindest, but skilled surgeons I have ever met. I am happy to drive 8 hours to have her as my surgeon. She proves you can be the best and still have an amazing bedside manner!
Dr Deberry made me feel more confident and comfortable with my decision for surgery. She explained all my choices ,the pro and cons. Her surgical hands are remarkable as she got clean margins around my tumor. I would recommend her a thousand times .
He has been my Doctor since 2010. I had breast cancer. Under his care I had my chemo, and close care for a year. Since 2010 I have follow ups every 6months. I would highly recommend Dr Ulmer.
Dr. Deberry is a skilled surgeon with an ability to communicate what she will do and how to do it with compassion. She performed breast tissue removal on me did a fantastic job. She also worked with my reconstruction surgeon and coordinated my care. I would highly recommend her.
