The doctor is very good!
He is not very friendly. I was not impressed with his lack of empathy and attitude. I would not recommend him, nor would I ever go back to him. He’s just incredibly unfriendly and it’s doctors like him who make me dislike going to the doctor. Also, he never let me know I had to fast before I went to get my blood drawn. Luckily, it didn’t really affect my test results, but he never once mentioned that I should fast before I went, and I was not pleased. Dr. Ogas took my 88-year-old mother as a new patient and treated her immediately with respect, listening to her concerns and proactively was able to get her situated as a new patient having moved from another state to New Mexico. We both think very highly of his professionalism and genuine care.
He’s very hands-off and doesn’t necessarily believe in preventative medical treatment. His whole philosophy surrounding family practitioner medical care is to just have the patient live as they are and ignore any underlying, treatable issues if you’re doing fine enough. He also treated my wife and me very differently.
