I like the guy he dealt with my issues right away and insisted on a colonoscopy am 61 and had never had one he was a great help to me.
Both of my boys and husband see Dr. Koh and love him! He was wonderful when my husband suffered some very tramatic losses back to back. I would recommend Dr.Koh he is a good doctor and really does care. I think sometimes as patients we have to realize a doctor does not know everything and it is up to us as patients to be very direct if we feel our needs are not being met. Doctors are human they do their best to do no harm.
Dr. Koh should find another career. His lack of attention to his patients causes them real harm. I made 4 attempts to get a referral. Unbelievably, they all failed. Separately, for years I suffered from severe abdominal cramps. Dr. Koh said I have "irritable bowl syndrome" and offered ZERO solutions. One day I decided to stop intake of dairy products. Guess what? No more IBS. Couldn't Koh have suggested this? Well if he cared he could have, but it's clear he doesn't.
Terrible bedside manner. Did not acknowledge the level of pain. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone!
Misdiagnosed a serious internal infection even after two rounds of negative tests to try and support his diagnosis - I was then advised that he was not concerned and to call him in 4-6 weeks if my frightening symptoms persisted. Another Vancouver facility diagnosed the infected organ and advised that waiting as suggested could have resulted in sterility and/or sepsis. Only communicated via email, was not forthcoming with results unless asked - I would not recommend as a primary provider.
Dr. Steven Koh, MD has a 2.9 star rating with 10 reviews.
