I have had to wait more than an hour each time I have come. The nurses were incredibly rude about it and told me to always expect an hour after my appointments. He started me on medication that was making me feel awful. I called the nurse and they said "you probably had a stroke." Then told me they could see me in two weeks. When I protested that they should see me sooner if they think I had a stroke, they gave me more attitude. Worst experience I have ever had with a doctor or office.

Every time I come here I sit in the waiting room for 25 to 30 minutes past my appointment time and then another 45 in the exam room. He doesn't seem to know what he's talking about and just prescribes whatever. I told him I was getting bad headaches and without any tests or anything, he prescribed migraine medicine. I had an issue with my wrist and got a referral to get an emg. The EMG said I had cubital tunnel syndrome and no one ever followed up or scheduled physical therapy but I was told they would do so. Really liked him at first. Ordered CT and labs, have significant findings and nobody has called back to attend to the results. In been weeks. Terrible delay in care. Will be reporting to the insurance company and working with other patient advocate groups. Beware if you actually have something wrong. We are finding a new PCP!

You might have to wait a little for Dr. Simmerville to come in the exam room, this is because he takes the time to listen to each patient he has. He is very thorough with each and every patient. I would recommend him to anyone. He has taken care of both myself and my husband for 3 years now, we have been there from the beginning. He does not run people through like cattle. He explains everything. I am so grateful to have him as my doctor.

I was so excited about finding a new high-quality doctor in Pueblo for my elderly sister. We had our first new patient visit this am. We were 15 minutes early for our appointment. Great. My sis has dementia, is incontinent and has a pace maker. We waited 20 minutes or so past our appointment time before they called us back. The nurse was OK, but had a poor bedside manner. We waited another 45 minutes in the exam room. Not one person explained to us why the wait, or checked on us. After more than one hour past our appointment... read more
