Dr. Simerville is great! I started having some random health problems and he was able to figure it out and helped me get proper treatment. He actually listens and cares, he spends time with his patients. I was told ahead of time that sometimes appointments run a bit late, and I can see why, he doesn’t rush with his patients. I have no problem with the doc. It's the person who you leave a recorded message with,when you need a refill. I called last week on Friday. Left a message on Monday. Called again on Wednesday. Spoke to someone,she yes ok, I've the refill in to pharmacy. Yes, they called and gave me the WRONG MEDICINE. Called again today, left a message. It's after 6 pm. NO MEDS. Check again with pharmacy,they haven't heard anything about a new refill,with correct meds. IM DONE.
Ok so Dr. Simmerville is outstanding!! He genuinely cares for his patients. He’s very compassionate and takes his time with his patients. We are so happy we found him. I will say it CAN take awhile to get any paperwork needed. This is my only complaint. Everyone is very nice except Josette.. she has never returned one phone call. She has quite an attitude issue. I have had to wait more than an hour each time I have come. The nurses were incredibly rude about it and told me to always expect an hour after my appointments. He started me on medication that was making me feel awful. I called the nurse and they said "you probably had a stroke." Then told me they could see me in two weeks. When I protested that they should see me sooner if they think I had a stroke, they gave me more attitude. Worst experience I have ever had with a doctor or office.
Every time I come here I sit in the waiting room for 25 to 30 minutes past my appointment time and then another 45 in the exam room. He doesn't seem to know what he's talking about and just prescribes whatever. I told him I was getting bad headaches and without any tests or anything, he prescribed migraine medicine. I had an issue with my wrist and got a referral to get an emg. The EMG said I had cubital tunnel syndrome and no one ever followed up or scheduled physical therapy but I was told they would do so.
