I was very fortunate to be referred to Dr. Kernis. It probably saved my life. He took one look at the results of my EKG and other records that were sent to him from my primary and had his staff call me in the the office immediately a week before my appointment date. Within days he performed a heart catheterization and next I was off to get bypass surgery. He was thorough and took the time to explain everything in detail. Dr. Kernis is one of the most amazing and caring physicians I have ever met. He takes extra time to really explain everything to his patients. His staff is fabulous also! I highly recommend him!
I went in for my follow up appointment on February 18th 2026 .I had a balance of around 44.00.I explained I tried to pay over phone and lady had me on phone for 30 minutes dog barking in background and it was too difficult.I handed her my credit card to pay in office .The lady at desk , who hasn’t missed many meals , started bullying me demanding I pay this visit too and Medicare deductible ..The office manager chimed in and also bullied me .Medicare said they never heard of such a thing and other people were not bullied o... read more

Dr. Kernis is a wonderful doctor. He truly cares about you and takes the time to explain everything to me. I am blessed to have a doctor like him!! The staff is wonderful to me every time I go. I one hundred percent recommend Dr. Kernis and his office.
