rushed me through the appointment, did not believe I have autoimmune symptoms, and promptly sent on my way. Not up to date on current research.
I have only been a patient of Dr. Vlad for a few months, but I wish I had found him years ago. My previous Rheumatologist of over 15 years basically did nothing except remind me that I have osteoarthritis, collect my copay and send me on my way. From the 1st 5 minutes I knew Dr. Vlad was not like that. He looks you in the eyes, listens, and asks questions about what has/hasn’t helped in the past. Then he includes you in deciding what to try next. He is compassionate and very easy to talk with.
I have been to a lot of specialist for all of the symptoms of Sarcoidosis. My liver doctor sent me to Dr. Vlad to treat me and do my lab work and exams that were due. When I got to Dr. Vlad's office, I was seen by the medical residents who took my history. When Dr. Vlad came to see me he said he would not do any testing and that I could just follow up in 3 months. He said that he could just send me to a knee replacement and that those are the types of things they do in this office.
Very thorough, easy to understand, caring. I feel as though he will see me through and not throw his hands up and send me off to another specialist because I am not an easy case.
Dr Vlad is a compassionate and caring doctor. He put his time and energy into creating a treatment plan that would work for me. He explained everything with his easy mannerism, and his knowledge far surpassed. any expectation. I will always be grateful .
Dr. Vlad is a wonderful caring doctor. He really took the times to listen to my mothers problems and made her feel understood. I would highly recommend Dr. Vlad.
