I had been a patient of his (mostly seeing his physician's assistant - she is great) for at least 3 years. On the occasions that I did see him, I always felt like he was a pompous jerk. You can't really blame a guy for his personality, can you? Recently, I had a fasting cholesterol test as my levels have been borderline high for years. This doctor has a bent towards sports medicine. If you have another ailment, then you are subject to a vagueness and 'I'm the doctor , Do as I say' attitude. I asked for a layman term for the condition, I did not understand and asked for another opinion which was denied!! There are several other medical conditions involved and they were not satisfactorily addressed. Using a politicly correct term, he is ineffective. Using a layman term: he is a QUACK
