The office staff is unhelpful and non-responsive. I tried to schedule an appointment, but they would not let me without them having a referral on file (even though appointments were months out). My PCM sent the referral several times, and they said they did not receive it. They did not try to get to the bottom of the issue. I highly recommend Dr. Kimmel and his team. After seeing multiple physicians, Dr. Kimmel was the only rheumatologist who correctly diagnosed my spondyloarthritis, an inflammatory condition affecting my lower back and joints throughout my body. Dr. Kimmel is the first Rheumatologist who not only understands EDS( Ehlers Danlose Syndrome-hypermobility) but knows how to treat conditionsthat go with it. Same goes for MCAS ( Mast Cell issues). Being a retired Orthopedic RN I know when a physician is in the top 10% of their field. He really listened and asked me questions that others didn't. I’ve been a patient of this office for years. Dr Kimmel and Danielle, RNP are great however, support staff is horrible. Time and time again staff, including office manager does not return calls and online portal is not accessible. I’ve been trying for over three weeks now to reach someone by phone. I have even spoken in person to office manager about my concerns and still have gotten nowhere. It’s starting to feel like the priority is to push medication.
