Dr. Chang operated on my neck and is currently seeing me for my lower back. I am extremely satisfied with his expertise, professionalism and surgical proficiency. He relived the numbness and pain radiating from my neck and is currently working on the lower back pain. Dr. Chang's staff has always been very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Chang.

5 stars to Dr. Chang and his staff. I went to him complaining of neck pain. After only one visit I have been pain free for over 6 months. He was professional yet friendly. He and his staff went out of their was to make me feel comfortable. His billing department went above and beyond with my insurance issues. I highly recommend Dr. Chang and he will continue to see to all my spinal needs.

Dr. Chang did my father's back surgery 11 years ago when he had herniated disc from a car accident. It helped him tremendously. We recently went back to see him because my father is getting old and has spinal stenoses. He is still the same after all these years. He said my father doesn't need surgery yet and did an epidural which made him feel better. He is a wonderful doctor, and we feel very lucky to have him taking care of my father.

This was my second visit in four years , related to followup pain and numbness caused by a herniated neck disc 15 years ago. He looked the new and 4 year old MRI’s , said there was no big difference and then said I could push sue pain management through my GP as he no longer did this. He also recommended physical therapy. The entire visit was abrupt, took less than 5 minutes and there was no physical exam. He then billed Medicare $850 for a Level 4 new patient, which was not correct and I am following up on. Bad doctor in al... read more

Everything was ok until I agreed to let him do injections. I was hurt in an auto accident, and I will always believe that he made things worse for me, to where I will be in pain management for the rest of my life. When he did an MRI guided lower back injection, something went wrong and I firmly believe he hit an area he wasn't supposed to. My girlfriend who drove me there heard me scream in the waiting room. After the procedure, I had an absess the size of a golf ball in my lower back.

Actually, I saw Dr. Chang by mistake. I was in great pain, looking for a knee replacement. Dr. Chang saw me immediately that day. But he is a spinal surgeon. He listened to my complaint, looked at my knee and gave me the names of two knee doctors. I asked him if I should be wearing the back brace I had forgotten that day. He said not to wear it unless I was in bad pain and it helped. (It didn't). He was kind, understanding, and focused entirely on our conversation.

I don't like to recommend to other people. I made an appointment to see him based on his advertisement on line. But he told me he doesn't do the treatment he advertised.

Saw him for 2ND opinion re surgery c5-c6 herniated disc/car accident. Very surprised the previous patients got one question out! Looked at my MRI, said "tell your attorney you need the surgery"...talk it over with your family or just keep taking the pills." What surgery? When? Where? I didnt get to ask 1 question. He left the room. I yelled after him to ask if I could have physical therapy. What an imposition I placed on him. He did write a report to my attorney, that I have yet to get a copy of. That was the extent of my vi... read more

Alotted 10 mins for appt. Told me to be brief describing my symptoms. Had me waiting in pain +1.5 Hrs after Appt Time. He actually took the appointment AFTER me first because they signed in first. One foot out the door as I was asking questions. Told he used his time effectively when he was in a Dr.'s waiting room. Quite rude and arrogant. Cared nothing for my concerns. Will never go to any office he is a part of again. It was as if I was bothering him when I wanted to ask questions. He didn't seem to realize I had been to h... read more
