I visited AnMed ER on Friday night around 7:30 PM with symptoms of a kidney stone — something I’ve experienced close to 40 times in my 29 years of life. I expected standard care: fluids, CT scan, and support for pain and nausea. Labs were taken as usual, and I saw in MyChart that results had posted. When the doctor entered, he didn’t address why I was there, only mentioned my blood pressure was high (which it was elevated), and stated he would “check my urine.” That “check” turned out to be a drug screen — something I’ve nev... read more
He dismissed my daughter when she came in with stroke symptoms. He belittled her and very condescending and rude. If this doctor is your care provider, RUN if you can. I am sitting in her room on the stroke floor with my child as I write this.
