I took my special needs child in for an appointment to get a refill on his meds. This was our very first time seeing Dr. Turner (my sons regular doctor past away last week) and will definitely be our last! My son is autistic, very limited communication skills and is ADHD. While in the exam room, my son is looking at a magazine and pacing the floor. Dr. Turner grabs my child by his arm and tells him he needs to sit down. I of course intervened and removed his hand from my child and left.
I’ve been having some issues and have had bad experiences with doctors who had poor bedside manner in the past. Dr. Wood was so kind, patient, and took his time explaining everything to me in a way I could understand. I left feeling cared about and valued, with my problems addressed and a plan in place. I couldn’t ask for better qualities in a doctor.
I found Dr Wood a few months ago after I saw what great reviews he had online. I was suffering from something I didn't really know was possible to be fixed. Not only did Dr. Wood present outstanding bedside manner, listening and thorough explanation of everything, I believe he truly cares for his patients. After years of suffering I am finally experiencing no pain! I would recommend Dr. Wood and his entire staff. I wish all doctors had the same level of care.
He lost his lust and touch for his business I guess!. I've begged him to please help me with ongoing symptoms of organ prolapse but he refused to help me! I FINALLY found an urogynecologist who figured out my symptoms in 5 minutes! 2 1/2 years of agony and waisted life for me because he would not or could not diagnose my issues! As he told me " I took my wife to Mayo" She too had similar symptoms! What does that tell you about his care???? Shame on Dr Wood.
I recommend Dr. Wood. I have had some uncomfortable experiences going to the OB/GYN before but Dr. Wood was great. He made me feel comfortable. Explained things to me that were easy to understand. He was very easy to talk to and his staff are also great.
Dr. Howell was condescending and arrogant. I had a life threatening blood clot and I was treated as if I was a bother. Thankfully, I got a second opinion from my cardiologist. Spent 10 days in The Heart Hospital. Then I was dismissed from his care the very next visit. As if I had offended him for receiving a second opinion. Zero PT was ordered. I now suffer permanent damage from his lack of care. I would never recommend ANYONE to use him.
Very pleased. His office got me in right away as a pregnant new patient who had experienced a miscarriage the year before. He is a very cut and dry doctor. He will answer any and all questions you have, and not sugar coat anything. He took good care of me and my baby. Great prenatal care. His nurse Tracy is awesome! He helped lighten the mood during my C-section, playing music. Came to check on me often, even late at night, after the birth of my son. He is a great doctor. Highly recommended.
Dr. Wood was absolutely the best Dr. I've ever had! His staff is amazing too! I can't imagine going anywhere else after the level of care we received. He takes time to explain things, is very knowledgeable and upfront, his office runs on time, and they return calls when they say they will. I just wish they handled everything so we never had to go anywhere else.
After changing jobs I had a different insurance and had to change to a new Dr. I was a little nervous that I am pregnant with my first child and having to switch to a new provider. Dr wood and his office staff have been absolutely wonderful. They answer all questions and never make you feel rushed or silly for the questions you ask. I couldn't imagine using a different dr now.
