Dr Dona was exactly the kind of Doctor I was looking for. He listened to my goals and with professionalism guided me in the alternatives to care I could choose. The outcome was successful and I feel lucky I found Dr Dona after meeting with several other Doctors.
It was decided to have x-rays once a year to check for stones. Xrays in 2018 showed nothing, in Oct, I took them an urine sample, which they confirmed had blood in it after another phone call. Instead of having more test etc, they told they would be in touch with further instructions. 2 weeks later, no phone call, I had a kidney stone attack while driving on the freeway, went to the emergency room, puked my guts out, and found out I had 3 stones. Dr. Dona is knowledgeable, experienced, and most importantly, he listens to the patient. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Dona; given that he is very thorough, orders appropriate lab, and other tests to make an accurate diagnosis and then give appropriate intervention.

Dr. Dona is one of the best practitioner and surgeon I have had the pleasure of meeting. He has taken care of my father for 15 years. My father developed cancer and Dr. Dona found it in stage one. He ran all the test prior to surgery to guarantee it hadn't spread. He had my Dad in surgery a week after diagnosis. He spoke to my family in language they could understand. Dr. Dona seemed highly professional and accurate . His bedside manner is less than likeable. His treatment toward nurses is short, and his personality has much to be desired. This is when I consoled with him in the hospital. I am happy he is not my doctor.
I think that he is topnotch, he has one of the best bedside manners I've ever seen. Thoroughly professional and very informative. He is easy to talk to and understand. I will recommend him to anyone.
