I don't feel like he cares. Husband had biopsy that was inconclusive and just went ahead with treatment for renal carcinoma instead of making sure it wasn't lung cancer. My husband is a 46 yr old man and he isn't getting better. We are being lied to and manipulated. All we hear about after waiting 2 hours for devastating news is how we have to wait for doctors to be back from their vacations to further treatments. I have never seen lack of informations. Dr. Eberwine is my nearly 97 year old mother's oncologist. He is so kind and attentive. I was so touched by how he assured her about her concerns. She struggles to hear, but he was patient and considerate. Mom and I highly recommend Dr. Eberwine
I’ve been seeing Dr Eberwine since 2009 he has helped me to fight cancer twice!! He is an amazing Dr he really cares about his patients. He was my moms Dr before me and she loved him too. He takes the time to talk to you and listen to your concerns. Yes maybe you have to wait sometimes at your appointment but it’s worth it because he is taking the time to help save your life!! I think it’s better to have a Dr that doesn’t rush you thru like an assembly line and listens and does everything he possibly can to make you better.
This morning I had an appointment at 8:00 a.m. with Dr. Eberwine. I sat in the waiting room until 8:35 a.m. and was then taken to an exam room and was told by the nurse, the Doctor wasn't here yet. Waited until 9:00 a.m. and left. Completely unprofessional and I can't understand why Doctors think their time is more important than others. Check out other reviews, common and continuing problem for him.

Worst doctor in the history of doctors. Terrible bed side manor. Rude, waited over 1 hour and 35 minuets at johnson memorial office. Front office and nursing staff were so nice, caring and apoligetic about the wait. They are the only reason i go back. If you want a rude doctor with no care or concern for anyone or anything pick dr. Eberwine. He waddles in 1 hr 35 mins later after my mid morning apt. He doesnt have time for my ?'s. Doesnt seem to care a thing about patients. DO NOT SEE THIS DR.
Dr Eberwine has not followed up with me about test results. We have called him several times a day for two days, left messages and no call back. He canceled my appt with the surgeon but did not notify me about the cancelation or the reason for canceling. We drove all the way to Fishers from Brownsburg. Meanwhile the cancer is doing whatever. I am searching for another oncologist hopefully one more reliable and considerate of their patients. I would never recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Eberwine appears to be self absorbed and shows little respect for my time as a patient. He may be a fine doctor but as a person I choose to end our relationship. If it is not lack of respect for patient’s time then he is a poor manager of his time. A know attribute by his staff. When I confronted him at our last appointment, he expressed no concern except to fine blame in events, Mondays and scheduling of appointments. The word sorry never crossed his lips. (2 hr. 30 min. apt)

Will not go back to him. Every appt I have waited for almost 2 hours. He comes in, Strauss for w few minutes and leaves. You might as well not waste your time. I have requested a new Dr.
