Dr. Samuelson is a God-send. He genuinely cares, is ridiculously smart and tracks all medications. He never gives up finding a solution and carries hope for you until he helps you find healing.
He is never even close to on time. Waited an hour past our appointment of the rime. Missed one appointment and he billed full price (without insurance) and dropped us as a patient. His reviews are horrible regarding over-drugging his patients and I agree with that too. There are much better offices and doctors to do business with.

As a young teen, I had seen Dr. Samuelson for a different issue. He suggested a book about an adult diagnosed with ADD. At the time, I did not want a diagnosis due to family stigma. Years later in medical school, I thought I might have ADD and received an official diagnosis. He is a knowledgeable psychiatrist. I also still remember him telling me that he loved being a psychiatrist.
I would love to give him 5 stars because over the many years he saw me he was a wonderful Psychiatrist. The loss of 3 stars comes with him dropping me as a patient because his office staff was very rude to me, and I ultimately took the blame. I rose my voice as well, but I never directed a threat or any negative connotations to this persons character.
