Absolutely horrible. What’s interesting is that the initial appointment was fine. He took time to explain the problem, answer any questions, etc. After surgery, however, it was like he was a completely different person. Seriously. Like a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde type of thing. Followup appointments were about 2-3 minutes long, he wouldn’t answer any questions, and he was very rude. One time he literally walked out of the room while I was in the middle of a sentence. My husband was at the appointment with me and said he wouldn... read more
Pre-op appointment was great. Dr. Carey took plenty of time and explained things well. After that it was like dealing with an entirely different person. No post-op appointment lasted more than 4 minutes and one actually less than 2 minutes. He doesn't give time to ask him questions. He actually concludes the office visits by just leaving the exam room and walking down the hallway while he's still talking. What few questions he did answer he contradicted himself repeatedly. He did my intestine surgery. Could not eat for 2 months from the complications and infections.
I went to him for my arm dialysis access. I almost died while in surgery. Had many problems after.
Does not take time to explain to me the surgery and dismissed my worries about my breast cancer diagnosis. Waited 1 hour to see him and spent less than 5 minutes with him.
He is so arrogant. Never seen such bad bedside manners. Not to mention that he botched my breast surgery. Had to have it done again by another surgeon because he left cancer in me.
Dr Carey performed a fasciotomy of my right leg requiring 5 selerate surgeries and a massive incision traveling the length of upper thigh. Had zero to minimum respect for pain management following and only gave me one script for 30 pills which I took even less than prescribed. A week after sending me home I was still in severe pain wiTh a roughlycosed wound and was told to take Motrin. Was treated like a drug addict by him and office staff. I know others with same experience. I don't like him!!!
