When I arrived for my appointment with Dr. Baker, I stated that I had BCBS FEP 111 and Medicare Part A only --- and showed my BCBS card. I carry my Medicare Part A card in my car because the Social Security Administration advises people not to carry both a DOB form and a Medicare Card in the same wallet, for obvious reasons of identity theft. I offered to bring in the Medicare card if needed, but she said that it wasn't necessary. There's not enough room to tell the whole story.
Had a total knee replacement in October, 2014 & was very pleased with the results. The caring attitude of the Doctor, nurses & staff was wonderful. Dr Baker really listens to you & your concerns. Can't say enough good things about him.
Dr. Baker did the surgery on my knee a number of years ago and I am seeing him at the present time for my shoulder discomfort which I have had off and on for years. I have confidence in Dr. Baker because he does not rush into surgery unless it is totally necessary which I certainly appreciate. His personality fits mine so I am confident he is directing me in the correct direction which makes me feel comfortable with his diagnosis. Trust is an important issue when making a decision for surgery.
