I had cataract surgery on both eyes done by Dr Wise Nov and Dec 2022. The website is right when it states that "personalized cataract surgery utilizing state-of-the-art intraocular lenses (IOLs) can potentially grant you superior vision compared to your pre-cataract state...”. Worst patient service of my life. They were extremely rude over the phone. I’m just a person trying to get a second opinion on my conjunctival nevus, which has been getting bigger and more painful over time. The first doctor I was referred to after the ER simply said it wasn’t cancer—but still, why is it painful? No one here in Canada seems able to help me.
I am not sure if these reviews are fake. This eye doctor was probably the worst doctor I have ever seen for any field! Firstly she was incredibly rude, she was short with me and took about 10 seconds to look at my eye and gave me the same diagnosis that I can read on the Internet. Turns out she gave the wrong diagnosis. On top of that, I asked her if she can kindly explain how she determined her diagnosis especially considering she only looked at my eyes for 10 secs or less. Dr. Wise is an outstanding ophthalmologist—professional, knowledgeable, and caring. The exam was thorough, and they took the time to explain everything clearly. Highly recommended!
