She is the best doctor I’ve ever had. I was her patient for 14yrs. She left NCH recently. I wish her a beautiful life & retirement if she chooses that or a wonderful new facility to practice at that is kinder & more supportive of their doctors. One that uses organizational systems that other facilities have to give the doctors time for the patients vs spending all their time on paperwork & tasks that could be done by med assistants, PAs, nurses, etc, which NCH med group really needs to provide & hire far more of. She is the best doctor I've ever had. She is kind, caring and professional. I totally trust her judgement and that of her excellent assistant, Liana. I feel very lucky to have found this practice.
Dr. Bartel is a 5 star doctor but I only gave her 1 star rating since the staff responsible for insurance billing needs to take an insurance coding class. More than 10 calls have been made to have a physical blood test to be recoded properly so that it may be paid by my insurance company.
I have been battling with Dr Bartels and her billing office for 10 months regarding a mistake in coding Dr Bartels made on my annual health check. According to my insurance there should be no chance for care gradient company there should be no barge. There have been 5 different excuses none of which are true. She will not back off. You can't get thru on the office phone. No one answers!!! Twice I had to drive over for an appointment. Maybe they blocked my number???
Dr Bartels is really wonderful. She listens to your concerns and is very caring. She is talented and does what it takes to get to the bottom of your issue. I highly recommend her.
