My wife has been a patient of his for over 10 years, and when he moved his practice to New Jersey, we didn’t think twice about following him—even though we live in Brooklyn. Dr. Lazarou has been my OBGYN for 10 years now. He used to be based out of Queens (Astoria and Great Neck). I always jokingly used to tell him that I would follow him wherever he would go if he were to move. Lo and behold, he ended up relocating his practice to Hackensack, NJ, which led me to fulfill my promise - I followed him from NY to NJ. Dr. Lazarou is by far one of the most caring obgyn I have ever encountered. My mom went to 4 different gynos to find reasons behind her post menopausal bleeding and he was the last one she saw. After getting the proper diagnostic testing and finding out she has ovarian cancer while on vacation, he told me what blood work to get that is correlated with this type of cancer. Dr. Lazarou is amazing. He treats you as a person not just an appointment. I’ve messaged Dr. Lazarou a few times in nyu app, every single time he’s gotten back to immediately. I wish all doctors were as amazing and caring as Dr. Lazarou.
Highly recommend Dr. Lazarou. I am grateful to have found a gynecologist who has so many wonderful qualities. Highly experienced, very knowledgeable, personable, gentle and kind. I felt immediately at ease as a result of his warm and genuine personality. The appointment was not rushed and the doctor is responsive when you have questions or concerns.
