Great doctor, caring, knowledgeable of GI! And great bed side manner!
Honestly, I've been to several GIs , and Dr Hsu is great. He also has a sense of humor, which goes a long way in this field. I'm a young patient for the issues I have, and because he looks beyond protocol, it worked to improve my quality of life
Dr. Hsu is the best doctor I’ve ever had. He’s advocated for me in so many ways for over four years. He has been the only doctor to validate and test for ALL of my symptoms. He was always consistently and effectively modifying my care plan to best suit my needs for all my disabilities. Yes, the staff there can be a hassle to deal with. Many insurance issues and not always the most pleasant nurses especially over the phone. But that is not a reflection of Dr. Hsu as a highly professional gastroenterologist.
Dr Hsu performed my routine colonoscopy and removed a polyp. I was going to see Dr. Hsu every 5 or 6 months for almost 2 years. Each visit I waited for a long time, 45 minutes and even more. Dr. Hsu entered the room, seated in a chair next to the door, and 2 minutes later he was gone. Finally, he said that I had an “inflammation somewhere”. I went to a different GI who couldn’t understand why I was visiting Dr. Shu that frequently!
I did not have a positive experience with Dr. Hsu and I will be finding a new doctor.
