Dr. Stacey Pisklak is not equipped to support Black mothers struggling during postpartum. While my care with her before pregnancy was adequate, once I began showing signs of postpartum distress, it became clear she lacked the education, cultural competence, and emotional sensitivity required for effective treatment. Rather than receiving support, I was met with shame and dismissal. It has taken years to process the harm I experienced, and I’ve finally found the courage to speak out. Black women deserve better.
Dr. Pisklak is incredibly helpful and truly stands out from other psychiatrists I’ve seen. She listens with compassion, offers clear guidance, and genuinely cares about your progress. I’ve felt more understood and supported under her care than ever before. Highly recommend!
I was referred to Dr. Pisklak by my therapist to get a second opinion. Dr. Pisklak's insight has been a total game changer in my life and I am beyond grateful. Dr. P is so responsive! Best doctor ever! She noticed I was fidgeting too much over ZOOM meeting & intervened before the twitching became permanent. Great bedside demeanor & I will recommend her to anyone!
