This man shouldn't be anywhere near mental health patients. He is rude, lacks compassion, doesn't listen, and has zero interest in his patients well being. If anything I felt worse after my visits with him. Not an ideal result for a Dr. of mental health patients to make them feel worse.

srini didn’t want to talk and he interrupted me the whole time. At some times he was angry or agreessive. By the end of it, he made it clear that I shouldn’t ask for help and I’m more upset now than before . It’s the opposite of what I hoped a doctor would do to help

Having this doctor was a bad experience in terms of care. He was disrespectful, no attempt to make eye contact or empathize or listen. I don’t recommend this doctor, especially for a supportive caregiver.

This man is not only kind but an absolute gem! He explained things to me that have never been discussed over my 20 years of treatment and medication. Made me feel at ease! If only all doctors were as kind and well spoken as he is.

Met Dr. Chilakamarri at the hospital for a suicide attempt. He told me, "Obviously your family and friends didn't matter to you and you don't care about them" on our first meeting. That's not something you say to a suicide survivor and someone with mental illnesses. My recommendation is to find a more compassionate doctor who WILL take in your wellbeing into consideration.

Absolutely horrible and unethical doctor. Through St. Luke’s Hospital we requested a consult for a doctor to give an opinion about our mothers mental competency. He came to the hospital and “interviewed” her twice, but told me afterward that he refused to give an opinion because he hadn’t known her for 4 or more years. If that is his policy, then why did he consent to do the consult? He was aware of the fact that she was NOT a patient of his, and that he had never met her before.

His staff is kind, but he is rude and dismissive and wouldn't answer direct questions regarding medication. Not interested in personalized care.

BEWARE! Unethical. I was hospitalized for a non-psychiatric condition. He comes in seven times to sales pitch me on getting medication and psychotherapy. I was not informed that I was being charged for this nor did I request a psychiatrist.
