Horrible, nasty little man. Untold numbers of patients left untreated, ignored, until another hospital has to clean up the mess. London Staff call his work, the "Mehta Special". Meaning, you'll be missing toes, feet, even whole legs. My fathers toes were removed there. If you smoke, or smoked, you'll be treated like garbage by this doctor. He also overbills OHIP...I have the CSPO decision to prove it. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.
Dr Mehta is a very smart man. Sometimes he has patients who are extremely sick, by the time they seek medical help. Fortunately, he has saved more lives than not. Ive been his patient for 4 years and have had 2 major operations under his care. Because of Dr Mehta I get to watch my grandchildren grow up. I will be forever grateful to him.
It has been exactly 2 years to the day that my father passed away. I've put off writing this review until now, in hopes to file a successful lawsuit against Dr. Sowmil Mehta. 2 years is all you have to file. Unfortunately in Ontario Canada, filing a lawsuit against a doctor is very difficult. I contacted more than two dozen legal firms, all of which said it was horrible what my father went through, and can see merit in my complaint but unless the case is 100% cut and dry it is too expensive to move forward.
