Dr Ahluwalia performed a GI scope on me 10/13/2016 that went horribly wrong including a several day stay in ICU unit...Today is 10/18/2016 and I have yet to hear from the physician regarding my status...What went wrong?...Not a peep. My life was threatened to the point of of needing ICU care for two days with a remaining day in the hospital for IV drip and monitoring and not a visit by the performing physician and/or even a follow up phone call? I was a patient of Dr. Son H. Nguyen. While the staff here was friendly and the facilities were clean, the Doctors did not try to diagnose me other than trying to slap me with a generic IBS or IBD diagnosis out of pure laziness. After spending months on exploratory procedures and consulting with Dr. Nguyen (spending copious amounts of money on scopes and radioactive tests etc) he basically gave up. Just trying to get an appointment with this place has been a nightmare. "Alissa" who does the scheduling of appointments is about as helpful as a box of rocks, and her voice is like chalk on a blackboard as well. She makes it seem as if she is doing you a huge favor, and she immediately puts you on the defensive by acting from the start as if she knows you aren't going to have the correct "referrals."
