The review of one star is for the staff that answered the phone. I wish you could place nicer staff that schedule appointments and answer the phone. It doesn’t take a lot to be a kind person! Dr Botta, was very informative, knowledgeable and kind. 5 stars for the Dr Botta.
I can go on all day about Dr. Botta. He is such a kind soul; simply amazing! My husband and I had a wonderful experience with him before and after our son’s surgery. He was compassionate, knowledgeable, and informative about the whole procedure. He really put our minds at ease as we were feeling anxious about our son going under anesthesia for the first time. Dr Botta blows off patients and parent concerns. When asked what signs to look for of concern and those symptoms occur the office never returns phone calls. Abnormal results are never followed up on to the parents - you’re left dissecting whatever is in MyChart. Wait times are out of this world - and Dr spends so little time with their patients at this practice (including Dr Botta) that they show how little they care especially regarding complex medical cases. Per the person answering questions about their circumcision policies, this practice FORCE RETRACTS intact infants, which causes scar tissue build up and phimosis. Absolutely wrong care, and willful ignorance (or securing guaranteed patients who will need care and likely eventual medical need for circumcision due to malpractice) Educate yourselves first, and choose another practice if your son needs to be seen by a urologist.
Waited over 2 hours without any acknowledgement or respect for our time. Wasn’t advised of the method or difference in procedures prior. Paid in full prior to the procedure then found out that you don’t even have a post opp appointment to ensure everything is healing correctly. Highly disappointed. Felt like just a number. UPDATE: We just learned from our FNP that the procedure was incomplete and we would need to revise it as our son would be in pain otherwise.
