After seeing a very kind, caring, attentive and professional doctor with amazing bedside manner yesterday, I'm very surprised to read the negative reviews. I guess we all have off days, and sometimes patients are nervous and aren't at their best emotionally. That said, Dr Allport was simply wonderful to watch not only with my husband, but I heard him with neighboring patients.
On June 6 I was scheduled for a colonoscopy with Dr. Simon J. Allport. I received my prep kit weeks before but without instruction from Gastroenterology Associates P.A, so I followed the instructions that were in the actual prep kit. On Tuesday I finally got a call from Gastroenterology Associates P.A stating the instructions to start my prep and I advised them at that time I had already started the prep doses based on the instructions in the prep kit box. I've had absolutely the worst experience with Gastroenterology and Dr. Allport. The believe they are a monopoly in this area and treat you that way. They badger/harass you with phone calls and even send certified mail just to schedule an appointment. Absolutely the worst! 1 star only because I have to select something to submit
