God send me to Dr Simon, I just went for an MRI because of headaches, I never go to westchester medical center(WMC) for anything, but because of the nurses strike, my family suggested I go to WMC ! Only 5 days ago Simon fixed a massive brain tumor on my left brain lobe, the man is an absolute hero. Honestly I can't even come up with words for this guy. He makes sure not only you get done safetly, but afterwards too. They really need to just rename the entire hospital after this guy. Calling him a boss is an understatement.
I suffered a traumatic brain injury from a fall and was brought to the Westchester Medical Center as an emergency trauma case.The quick response of the trauma team saved my life. It was determined that I needed a craniotomy and Dr. Hanft and his team immediately took over. Dr. Hanft is equally enthusiastic about his specialized domain as well as helping patients. His nurse Barbara and him are both compassionate and accountable. Upon knowing the issue I was troubled with, they provided a time slot to discuss about it right away. I was truly amazed by their kindness and generosity.
