So I was giving this doctor's number from an ER doctor when I went in a few weeks back. Upon calling I was told I wasn't allowed to make an appointment without my primary care physician calling first. Well needless to say I had a bad experience in the ER so when I was asked to do a survey I was very honest about exactly how well they did not do anything for me. I had put my surgery off because I hadn’t found a doctor I felt comfortable with. When I met Dr. Shetty I knew she was the one. She incredibly kind and professional. She explained the procedure in detail in a step by step manner. After my surgery in the hospital she was very attentive and explained how everything went. She also made sure my family members were updated and put them at ease. I would recommend her to everyone. She is the best at what she does.
When I found out that I would need a partial colectomy, I was frightened but I knew it needed to be done. My husband and I went to see Dr. Shetty and she was so kind and explained every step in detail to us. By the time we left we knew I would be in good hands. The surgery went smoothly and I have felt better than I thought possible after having several diverticulitis attacks in the past year. The damaged part was removed and put back together with no problems. I can’t recommend her strongly enough.

Dr. Shreya Shetty was horribly unprofessional. She explained the surgery to me saying, we will use banding, "it's like cutting a bulls balls off." When her MA heard her, she tried to explain it differently. I also have a bad left hip and asked that I be able to lay on my right side during the procedure. She was livid when she came in and she said," I'm right handed." I explained about my left hip pain and her response was, "I'm not here to hold your hand."
