I want to thank Dr Patel and his staff for the SGB shot. I have been a first responder for over 18 years. The life of a first responder can be rather intense. Over time those intense moments build up and start having an impact on everyday life. SGB changed my life. The effects were immediate after the injection. Update on 4/22/26: t's been 6 months since I had bone marrow injected into 3 lumbar spine discs and there's been about 70% improvement in pain, mobility and stiffness. I feel more grounded with both feet and I do not favor my left side as much (most of the degeneration was on the right side of my L5-S1 disc). The recovery really wasn't too bad, the first 2 days it felt like I threw out my back. But, I did have a set back 2 months post procedure only because I overdid it (doing pike sit ups). Thanks to his in-office PRP treatment, I was able to avoid surgery. His staff is also very friendly and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and reassuring.
