Dr Abe has been an absolute ally. She is highly intelligent, efficient, and unapologetically fierce. I am in awe of her as a woman and as a patient. In fact, my entire care team at UCSF has given me the education and support to go through cancer treatment with grace and dignity. I recently had a bilateral mastectomy and the work is flawless. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and breast cancer at the same time. Dr Abe was very patient in analyzing my condition with me. She is very professional and responsible. I am very grateful to have her as my doctor.
This review is overdue for my favorite doctor: Dr. Abe is incredible! Not only does offer so much heart and care but she is by far the best surgeon I’ve worked with (this coming from someone who has had more than one fibroadenoma removal). The scar she left behind couldn’t even be found! She takes time with her patients and if I could I would want to come to her for ever issue I have (but I’m happy she specializes in surgery because she is truly the best).
