I have no doubt he is a sharp cardiologist but as others have mentioned, the amount of tests he wants is a bit extreme, i think i'm on my 10th referral appointment and i've only seen him a few times. He absolutely has the 'my way or the highway' attitude and is a bit arrogant. His staff is extremely friendly but i really want someone that doesn't get offended if i have my own concerns, i want someone to listen to me and maybe give me some options which i feel like i have not got from this doctor.
Dr. Karkal is knowledgeable and attentive but demands too many tests. He wants to see me every 6 weeks and gives me an echocardiogram every time I'm in the office. My cardiac health isn't that bad.
Dr. Karkal is knowledgeable, caring, and very alert to my cardiac needs. Communicates and takes time to acknowledge any issues I may have.
Seems pretty thorough and has a great staff. Will soend time talking with patient.
I find him to be straightforward. He explains his findings and discusses options.
Did not like this man demanding statements. Found another but Dr. Karkal has not forwarded my records to my new doctor. I wanted a 2nd opinion. This has been going on since June 2016 and here it is November 20126.
He takes the time to sit and talk with you. He listens and answers questions.
