Horrible horrible horrible experience. Doctor Champenari is fine. The front staff and nurses are atrocious. I asked for a call back 3 days ago. NOTHING. I am starting RAI treatment and had questions regarding additional scans and testing. NOTHING. I call. NOTHING. I reach out on MyChart. NOTHING. I’ve been trying to get insulin RX sent back to CVS. I’ve called the office for last two days and no answer. The phone lines place you on hold and I’ve been on hold for 25 minutes twice and elected to hang up. This is totally unfair and unprofessional to say the least.
It breaks my heart to leave this review. I’ve been going here for years and have always found the Dr to be kind with a good bed side manner. He does spend time with you. I’ve been on medication for hypothyroidism (Hashimoto’s) since I was 18 and I’m now 41. I called to get a refill on my medication and it has been nothing but a headache. My 5 star review is for the Dr himself. Very kind, educated and spends the time you need to discuss and further educate his patients. I see the Dr every 3-4 months for my type 1 diabetes. A lesser star review would be given for a certain front desk team member. For the last several months when I have called this team member answers and fails to listen, for example I state my name and say that I was calling to make my next appointment and to follow up on my prescription refill.
