Terrible experience. If all you are looking for from your endocrinologist is to read a blood test result and change dosage, she is sufficient. If you are feeling ill and need expertise to assist you in finding any real solutions or any answers, do not rely on Dr. Bembo.
I saw Dr. Bembo today for the first time. Before I give her my review I would like to say that I am a Nurse who has worked closely with physicians for the last 50 years. Dr. Bembo is one of the nicest, kindest, and most knowledgeable physicians that I have encountered. She reviewed all my medical records and was quite patient while doing so and she asked me all the appropriate questions and answered all of mine without hesitation. I am looking forward to seeing her again, and, believe me I do not usually say that!
I have seen this doctor two times and both times have been unpleasant. She is incredibly rude, nasty and condescending. She did not let me speak or finish asking my questions. I told her I was unhappy and her reply was "you can leave at anytime and we can be finished". I will be reporting her.
I’m writing this on behalf of my mother: I have NEVER had an experience like this at a doctors office. I have never met a staff AND doctor who are so RUDE and NASTY to their clients. I came in 7 mins before my appointment, NOT after, before. I walk over to the reception desk and check in. The woman at the desk, middle aged black hair, essentially called me a liar and said that I was late. As I tried to converse with her all she did was shake her damn head.
