My experience with Dr. Shira McMahon was extremely disappointing. Her bedside manner was among the worst I’ve ever encountered. She showed little to no concern for my situation, barely made eye contact, and gave the impression that she was disinterested in understanding my symptoms or addressing my concerns. I had an appointment for today at 10:20 AM with Dr. Shira McMahan, I’m visiting from other state and because I was waiting for a car I called before leaving my house and informed that I was going to arrive at 10:35 AM, asked if that was ok or not, they told me that as long as I arrived at 10:35 I was ok, I arrived to the parking lot at 10:33-got to the elevator by 10:34, and check in by the 10:35 the clock changing at that moment to 10:36 the front desk checked me in, and said that everything was fine, after 15 minutes waiti... read more
THIS DOCTOR SUCKS!!!! I made an appointment 6 months ago and just got called to cancel the appointment one day before. The doctor gave no ADVANCE WARNING. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.... THEY WANTED TO RESCHEDULE IN OCTOBER!!!! THAT WOULD BE ONE YEAR OUT FOR AN APPOINTMENT. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.... THIS DOCTOR IS HORRIBLE!!!! SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HER PATIENTS... YOU CAN'T TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS AND EXPECT GOOD RESULTS.
Worst doctor I've ever encountered. No bedside manner and failed to listen. Never again
As a long-time healthcare professional, I was extremely disappointed in Dr. McMahon's lack of compassion and professionalism during my visit. She barely acknowledged me, dismissed my concerns, and made judgments without asking important questions. I left feeling belittled and unimportant. I have had much better experiences with other neurologists in the past and hope to find a compassionate and understanding doctor in Martin County.
