We saw Dr. Shelly Abramowitz today for a consult on a bone growth on my 16-year-old son’s lower gums. First off we waited an hour to get in which I know sometimes happens not necessarily her fault. Her bedside manner is atrocious. She did not like being questioned about anything! Her attitude was you just have to trust me, I’m the doctor, don’t ask me any questions. Please find another doctors office. This place is only concerned about the money. I received a referral to have two of my daughter’s canines removed with the possibility of two molars needing to be removed. Unfortunately, this doctor refuses to take patients unless she is guaranteed to remove three or more teeth. I explained that the referral says 2 to 4 but they are asking for a specialist hint the referral to provide a more detailed agenda. This Dr should not be working with children especially a child with special needs. We loved her staff and I’m sure she’s a great surgeon but she is a terrible human.
Very strong talker not a good field for kids...Don’t spend time with patient before forming such negative thoughts...Needs more training ASAP
