I highly recommend Dr. Sheila Thakkar! This is my second pregnancy under her care, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely caring. She always takes the time to listen and makes me feel comfortable and well taken care of. She is also incredibly friendly, always smiling, and it’s truly a pleasure seeing her at every appointment. I’m so grateful to have her as my OB and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing doctor! ❤

I had a great experience speaking with Dr. Sheila Thakkar's medical administration staff member Hena, who has been super polite and answered all my questions generously! Recommended for any new mom-to-be to speak to the team for clarity about the process. Cannot wait to meet with Sr. Sheila!

Very disappointing experience. I was referred to Dr. Sheila Takhar during my pregnancy, but from the moment I contacted the office, I felt unwelcome. The receptionist was cold and dismissive, telling me she would review my referral "when she had time." Shortly afterward, my referral was rejected without any clear explanation. I was referred to Dr. Thakkar for health issue that required surgery. Started off half decent and resulted in surgery date. I was contacted a month before to tell me my surgery needed to be rescheduled because the doctor had to go on vacation. They told me they would call me in January to reschedule and never did. Several months later, I experienced pain and contacted them for a date. They provided a new surgery date and no further details till I had to call to follow up a week before to find out logistics. If I could give zero stars, I would. My family physician sent a referral 20 days ago, yet this office neglected to process it or even provide a timely response, only to eventually refuse the referral altogether. Sitting on a request for nearly three weeks before rejecting it is a administrative failure. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour. Don’t always trust the high ratings.
