I was a patient of Dr. Orenberg’s for many many years. It has been about a year since my last physical so I made an appointment for July since that was the earliest appt they could give me. I told them I needed to renew some prescriptions and was told that Dr. Thomas would not approve the refill unless she saw me. I am out of my blood pressure medication and failure to refill the prescription would put my health at risk. I was told that doesn’t matter. Best doctor I’ve ever seen. She is very easy to talk to. She genuinely cares about her patients and that shows through her actions.
Dr. Shelia Thomas is an excellent doctor! I have been a patient of hers for 12years. She has been a God sent to me. She has awesome bedside manners. I love the way she takes the time to sit and ask questions to get a complete understanding of your symptoms in details before making any diagnoses.
I only had one appointment. My followup appointment was rescheduled due to doctor had an emergency. No problem, I understand. I had my days mixed up so i missed my appointment. Showed up on the wrong day... So I rescheduled for today at 11:15am. I arrived at 11:19am. Finished sign in at 11:21am which when i was acknowledged. The front desk representative called my assumption was the nurse which stated i was late and I can wait to see if the 11:45 appointment show up or i can reschedule.........Really!!!!!
I saw Dr. Thomas on Friday, October 28th for severe headaches. She assessed me and diagnosed me as having sinusitis. I was given a cocktail shot, mucinex and nasal spray. Two days later on Sunday, 10/30/16, I couldn't get out of my bed due to once again severe headaches. I took it upon myself to drive to Baptist ER regarding my headaches. They performed a CT scan and discovered I had a subdominal bleed in my head to which they had to perform surgery. Just think this doctor thought I had sinusitis.
