Dr. Barootchi and staff are always friendly and professional. The evaluation and explanation of the procedure prior to the procedure was easy to understand and comprehensive. Dr. Barootchi and Farzad’s calm and at-ease experience during a procedure put me at ease. Dr. Barootchi is a credit to this profession! He, and his team at Michigan Perio go the extra mile in patient care. Very few periodontists can perform successful gum augmentation for receding gum lines, and he did mine with perfect skill and ability. At the same time I was having this surgery, I developed a fungal infection of my mouth, which persisted for 7 months. Dr. Barootchi did a gum graft procedure for me a few weeks ago, and now that I'm almost fully healed, I can say the whole experience went smoothly, and I'm extremely happy with the results. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable about the procedure. He was also super responsive and saw me right away at my request post op. I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Barootchi during my implant process while he was at NOVA Periodontic at Aldie ,VA. He performed a bone grafting procedure that was poorly done and ultimately had to be completely redone by another doctor. Not only did this set my treatment back significantly, but it also cost me a lot of extra money and time.
