I have been coming here for 20 years started with Dr. Whithead and then continued with Fr. Thompson. I am extremely disappointed in how they just up and disappeared! I got an email that says to request my records which I have been trying to do since the beginning of October and I can't get a response on the portal or a returned phone call! I know things and staff have changed over the years but to just up and go is insane. I'm sad to see them go but it's really unfair to not have anyway to get our information! I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Sharon Thompson at Central Phoenix OB-GYN a few years ago that still lives with me to this day. As a Black woman, I was honored to have been referred to a Black female OB-GYN and expected to be in good hands — but when I came to her about fibroids, she didn’t examine me or educate me at all. She said verbatim she “wasn’t concerned” and gave me zero information on what fibroids were or how to possibly shrink or manage them. Unprofessional and unresponsive. Never takes accountability for neglect or misconduct.
This is my first pregnancy! For starters I did not like how when I went in for my first ultrasound she didn’t even do it! Of course the tech can’t tell you anything so I had to wait over 2 weeks to hear anything about it! Then when I finally met her she came in the room over an hour after my scheduled appointment time and was like so what are your questions?
