I’ve been with Dr. Stotsky for 21 years. There are shortages in health care across disciplines, especially with specialists and rheumatologists. I have experienced longer wait times in many health/medical offices, especially since covid. This practice is busy; they serve a lot of people with high needs. I'm surprised by a lot of the reviews here. I set up an appointment with Dr. Stotsky and they were scheduling out by months (I chalked this up to the COVID era). The first appointment is intimidating, but I felt 110% cared for. Insurance companies are to blame for this. Every question I was asked was solely to make sure my treatment would be successful and that insurance would cover the rising cost of medications and bloodwork. I went to this doctor for health concerns that to most people would cause them to seek emergency care. Every single thing I brought up was immediately dismissed as an issue that I’m causing myself or is not fixable. Night sweats are apparently lymphoma. Hair loss is because I just turned 30.
