Doing a 6 week program with dr. Shannon has been great in many ways. Eye opening, mentally, to how our inner voice affects how we take care of ourselves, AND physically, with how to slowly build strength and integrate it into your daily life. The no pressure/make time for any movement approach is so much more effective than the “no days off” or “all or nothing” mentality. I have received so many benefits from just one small challenge and will be continuing to work with her in the future.
I'm doing the October Fit Challenge. I have been looking for a program which combines plyometric exercises with kettlebells. Dr. Shannon Connolly's approach and perspective offer encouraging insights that helps us ordinary busy people navigate our own individual fitness goals. I like the fact that Dr. Shannon Connolly designs her workout with variety in supersets and intentions. I do feel the progress in my daily life just 4 weeks in.
I’m wrapping up a 6 week challenge with Dr. Shannon and it’s been so so good! Her approach is so unique and effective and the workouts are way more interesting than my usual. I’m really impressed by how much support and engagement we’ve had through the challenge- it’s definitely not one of those where you’re sent a PDF and left on your own.
When I first started working with Dr. Shannon I had horrible back issues - I had quit my job, was having difficulty walking and was fed up with PT. I was physically and mentally drained.
