Dr. Shammas is knowledgeable in pregnancy care, but unfortunately lacks expertise in hormonal deficiencies and menopause. I found the consultation unhelpful and not a good use of time or money.
Dr Shammas is beyond amazing. After 2 losses (and alot of anxiety) I decided to go privately (and I'm so grateful I did). Dr Shammas was supportive, kind, understanding and I felt reassured and safe throughout the pregnancy. At 36 weeks I had a fall (onto my belly) and broke my arm. I was in the worst pain and stressed about my baby. The local hospital did not want to see me and did not provide the care I needed for myself and my baby. Beware of this clinic, they don't take you seriously as a patient. My wife called on the morning of 14/7/102/ as she had been referred for a general check up, and the receptionist was extremely rude, making my wife feel inadequate, and mentioned her case was not important and that she would need to wait a year to see the doctor... Appaling customer service, this doctor really needs to find a new receptionist, there are more considerate and compassionate ones out there.
After experiencing a traumatic birth with my first child in the public system, I knew I needed a very different experience the second time around—one where I felt truly supported. I called the receptionist this morning, she is so cooperative and honest to tell me , Merina expires after 8 years , not only 5, plus she advises with calm voice to do cervical test with my GP ( it's rarely to find such good customer service) I feel calm and safe , even prices are affordable, Thank you ♥️♥️
