I was NOT pleased with my “ follow up “ visit with her today. She had ZERO regard for my feelings or concerns. She mentioned an issue with a previous lab that was never mentioned to me before today and to add to it she couldn’t even admit she was in the wrong!!! She was abrupt and dismissive which is one reason I will not go back to her and would never recommend her to anyone. I understand my mother’s frustrations with her years ago. Awful!🤮
I was disappointed with my recent follow-up visit with this doctor. Although the appointment was scheduled at her request, she didn’t seem to recall anything about my condition or our previous discussion from three months prior. Instead, she repeated the same questions and was more focused on typing into her computer than engaging with me directly. I ended up having to re-explain everything we had already covered. Excellent. Dr. Shameela Chorny is the best Dr. She very kind, friendly and professional .
If your idea of a Dr. is someone who is not compassionate , makes no time for you, doesn't remember your conditions from one year to the next and doesn't even bother to call you after having emergency surgery...then she is for you. If you're anxious about Doctor appointments or results she has no patience for you. Run don't walk. Be your own advocate. You deserve a whole lot better from your primary care Doc.
Cannot reach primary care doctor's office directly, must go through a "patient access representative" who then connects you to the next available "agent". Spoke to said agent to get Dr. appt. and have Rx refilled and no one returned my call, supposedly due to "Black Friday" hours. Even as an 81 year old senior, I only get to actually see the doctor for my annual Medicare wellness visit, unless it's an emergency.
