During a coloscopy, my biopsy revealed a rare but dangerous infection of Cytomegalovirus (CMV.). This is a virus that can only be treated by continuous IV administration of Ganciclovir over 3-4 weeks, I was referred by my gastro to Dr Vartivarian, whom I found to be knowledgeable, meticulous, and attentive to my case.
